My name is Tate Boyd, and I’m a recent graduate of Northwest High School. I’m currently pursuing my Fire Medic degree at DMACC, and I’ve spent my life learning the value of hard work and community service right here in the Des Moines metro.
You might recognize me from my work at New Creations Child Care in Waukee, or perhaps from my other business, Shimmer and Shine, where I spend my winters installing holiday lighting for families across the metro.
Whether I’m looking after kids at the daycare or training for emergency services at DMACC, my goal is always the same: Keeping our community safe.
